Bream Specialist 6'7.

Hey guys,

I'm looking at this model in particular to add to my crankbait arsenal of rods, anyone have one? They seem to be pretty popular. From what I've read they're pretty similar to a tourney master interline 6'6 in terms of specs and I love mine to death. I'm running 2 MX Ajing's for straight through fluro and in need of another Daiwa noodle.

I'm a little confused about the grip though, on the Daiwa website the picture for the Bream Specialist rods is of the 6'7 (I think) yet all of the photos I can find of them are featuring a "Black label" style grip and not a Tournament Master Interline or Steez style of grip.

Cheers

The handles on all the Tournament Specialist Bream models have a grip similar to the Steez rods.

Is it more of a noodle? Can't seem to find anyone that stocks them in Sydney and really want to feel the rod before I even consider it. Anyone who has felt a tournament master Z interline 6'6 want to compare it to that?

As above Rockdale might be your best bet Adam.

I find Gary great to deal with. You can also check in with Graham at Bevo on your way.

Take me with ya. I'll sing the entire way for entertainment.

But seriously Rockdale sports fishing would have to be one of the best in NSW, maybe even Australia for range of mid - high end rods/reels and hardbody lures. I havn't been in maybe 6 Months but last time I frothed at his hardbody collection.

Bevo hills bait and tackle are very competitive with their pricing aswell.

Haha! Yeah my mate got his Bream Specialist and a few black labels there and said they were pretty good to deal with!

I've just got to see one in the flesh and if it doesn't meet the standards another TMZ-I will be on its way, I lack noodles and this upsets me a great deal!

Just a word of advice boys. don't try to bargain with "The Goo" (Garry). What ever price he gives you, he will not deviate 1 cent, and he will get offended that you even asked for a discount.

I've fished a lot with the bloke, and we spend an hour laughing and talking shytmost weeks, but when it comes to making a purchase, if it's $100.05c, he won't call it $100.
