Help with my quiver
I'm after a heavy bream rod ( up to 10lb) that will be used for deep plastics and around jettys, oyster racks etc. I'm looking for a high end rod. Buying from overseas is not a problem.
Here's a list of what I already have ( most are light rods) Smith bayliner 6'8" Smaurai 201 Smith dancing bream 7'2" Daiwa Tournament specialist 7' ul Megabass kirisame 6'9" G loomis glx Tsr 862. 7'2" I'm looking at the megabass hyena 7' 3-10lb, if anyone's got one I'm interested to hear what it's like |

There is one rod that I havent seen mentioned on this forum the Dobyns Champion Extreme,I have the 702 casting rod but have used a few others in the range and as far as I'm concerned they are one of (if not the best) I have ever picked up.

Bream2nv, think I've seen you about on the tweed. I had a blue/black flats boat, and now a stessco bass tracker. Where did you find the Norries. Friend of mine had a norries cant remember the model. It was a split grip set up with a section that was covered with heat shrink. Wasn't very impressed with it but I'm keen to see what else they have to offer

Anyone got a link to smith's Japanese site? I haven't been able to find it, is there 2 piece bay liners available?

My bayliner cf is 2 piece butt join if that's what you mean. I know the megabass full house has a big following but has anyone used the Megabass Orochi X4S F2-68 Scramble Tour II. Being a F2 I'm thinking it may be more suited to what I'm after.

The hyena will be to light for what you are looking for, full house definitely fits the bill
