Well we all no how good this reel is and off course how expensive it is.
This reel is currently selling at Campbells Pro Tackle for $825.00AUS. Ebay bid start at $300 US, you can buy out right for about $366US. So has anyone had any unfortunate dealings with buying from the Ebay site? Any information would be appreciated, especially when the reel is about half the cost if purchased from Ebay. Generally, ebay is pretty safe for purchasing and selling stuff.
If you get dudded, ebay work on your behalf to remedy the situation and any seller duping you will be struck off and they conduct any legals FOR you. Buying internationally may make any warranty defunct, but you can get some bloody good deals online, no question. Each seller has a history listed under their username, where past purchasers can "rate" their service. ie, delivery time etc. It also lists any bad expierience from buyers. Check this out first before bidding. Check out the delivery costs as well, and be aware of exchange rates as well. A good exchange rate checker can be found here: http://www.xe.com/ucc/ ebay can be very, very cheap, but you do have to accept a certain level of risk. |

Damen,
I would get the newly announced Stella 2004 Magnesium (Salt water proof). You won't be able to get it in Australia easily and it won't start selling in May, but I've got one preordered already... You can only get it from Japan... The reels the sell over there are just a lot better then what they normally export out... |
