boat land comes good

Boat Land Comes Good!
After buying my new Wesern Craft Whaler boat from Boat Land in Mandurah, I was initially 'less than impressed' with the condition the boat was presented in and had plenty to say about it on various boating web sites. I also sent a copy of my complaints to the owner of Boat Land, Glen Chapman and asked him why I should continue to patronise his business?
I was not expecting a great response, as I had allready payed for the boat in full and couldn't see much incentive for the boat yard to do much about my problems.
However, to my pleasant surprise, Glen was quick to respond to my complaints not only to rectify the faults but to find out what went wrong in the first place!
Glen has made sure that I have been kept up to date with the progress of all repairs done to the boat and has positively bent over backwards to make sure that I have been made happy. No problem was too big that he could not overcome it, no complaint too trivial that he would not address it!
His staff have been truly helpful in explaining all aspects of how the boat would be rectified. I would like to make mention of Mike Harris who took time out of his Sunday to come and lend me his own personal boat so that i would not be with out a boat during my stay in Mandurah, and to Steve the mechanic who took the time to wet test the boat and get the prop selection spot on.
To summerise its nice to know the guys down at Boat Land stand so firmly behind the the great boats they sell! Credit where it is due, I was less than impressed when the boat was intitially delivered but they have made good and were true to their word in that respect and that shows considerable integrity in which future customers can have some considerable faith.
Well done & thank you boat land!
Steve Gernhoefer.

Thumbs up

Glad to hear the new Orange Flash has been sorted out (bet you kinda miss that old chrysler motor though )
Good on ya for letting us know of your initial problems with delivery and the steps 'Boatland' has gone to rectifying their stuff ups. A lesson to be learned on standing up for your rights when you part with your hard earned dollars.
