ET Escapes with Mates

I noticed on this past weekends show that Barney Perry was announced as a winner of a Pirtek Fishing challenge competition that meant he was able to fish with Guesty and ET as well as other free perks.
I thought this was funny as Barney is one of Guesty's mates from his youtube channel.
I left a message on his facebook yesterday and checked this afternoon for a response to find it deleted. So of course I reposted the same message. I thought this would happen so I copied and pasted onto my own timeline just in case. So I commented on it "disappearing" and reposted on ET's Facebook page and asked for a response.

This 'competition' is obviously a complete farse!

This is another reason why "Escape with ET's sponsors" is the worst show on TV.

PS - at one stage on the show Guesty was fishing with a Pflueger Patriach which Et called a shimano.

attached is a screen cap in case they delete my post again.

I'm not trying to be a jerk (althought i am being one) its just some "real" people probably entered the competition.

Honestly it really pissed me off and i'm in two ways to calm myself.

1. Never watch it again

2. Watch every episode to pick it apart

It is just a blatant marketing sham and it insults the intelligence of its viewers.
Thats what I take offence too!

I remember him talking about "how K-mart (or BigW, whoever was sponsoring him at the time) stock all the gear you need to catch bass while he was fishing with a stella. I know I'm being picky, but I found it funny at the time.

Boambee creek is just at the back of my joint. try newports bridge and the channel that leads to the lake, the bream are hungry in there but not all that large. Weed patches as well as the mangrove banks are the way to go also.

Bonville creek & Pine creek are better. I mainly fish Bonville or Bellingen/Urunga as well as out to sea. It has taken me about 3 years to decifer some fish holding areas and there are heaps more I have to try.

Deep Creek is pretty good but can be hit or miss sometimes.

I've just started to fish Moonee too which has a good rep.

I found ALL fish better on the rising tide.
