Depends where you are fishing flats bream as low as 2lb I go as low as this if the fish are spooky, any other scenarios I fish 4lb except for snags I go to 6lb hope this helps

I use Sunline FC Rock and find it good.
Bream: 2-6lb
Flathead: 6-12lb
Barra: 10-60lb

Obviously that is just a guide and can vary depending on the structure etc.

Might help running some actual leader instead of braided trace

Try Sunline FC Rock or Yamatoyo Harris Fighter

I find with leaders it comes down to personal preference.
I myself use Nitlon DFC, Sunline V hard and FC rock.
Best value for money would be Sunline FC rock.

like some members said, it depends where you fishing.
Snaggy and ruff: go heavy (5lb-8lb) for bream, however i do fish alot of pontoons and i use 4lb Sunline FC Rock and it works fine

regards flathead and barra i never caught or targeted one before so its unfair to make call but i've heard for flathead its better to use 8lb-12lb
