zx hooks on surface lures.
I'm just getting into hard body lures and surface lures. Yesterday I got some zx hooks to add to some surface lures. Has anyone had much success with these ?
It seems like a good idea because these hooks look like feelers. Just interested to know if it makes a lot of difference. Cheers |

hey mick you dont like them cause you could catch flathead on them
seanh they are great when the fish are short striking. When they are in, you can put a bit more hurt on a fish

Don't agree Mr Wilson.
Have seen them in action and I can't be swayed to use them. Even if you can catch flathed with them. |

Thanks for the replies. The guy is the tackle shop reckons they work well and uses them. I guess the proof will be in trying. I've yet to get a whiting on a surface lure and am pretty keen to get amongst it this summer.
They are very sticky little hooks though and I've finally managed to catch fish on the zx blades. |
