Trebles
ello,
whats the best way to replace old trebles on HB's? Is there a special tool to use or just a lot of swearing and cursing trying to get it on and off. Any advice

Split ring pliers are the way to go mate. BM have them in the store if you're close buy.
They make life a lot easier.

Yup, definately get yourself a pair of split-ring pliers. Before I invested in a pair, I put two prongs of a gama treble in the ends of two fingers ... using ordinary pliers. Was distracted by something, hands slipped... and you get the picture

Just bought my fith pair of split-ring pliers after buying duds that were either too big, poor quality or plain, just did not work. The up side is I can now recommend a pair that not only work but work bloody well .They are from a company called Texas Tackle and are perfect for bream sized split-rings. If the the Bream Master store doesnt stock these beauties, some one needs their bum kicked, they are the ducks guts. Have a look here so you can ID them. Mine have orange dipped plastic coated handles though I've seen them in blue as well. http://www.texastackle.com/pliers.htm Bill
