TD sensor any good?

Looking for a fluro orange braid to run on my plastics set up, I normally use castaway but find it a bit hard to pick up those little line flicks at low light times of day!

Wanting something around the same diametre as the castaway 10lb, would say 8lb TD sensor be a good option?

will be using it on a 2506 luvi for chasing Perch in the snags

any other fluro braid recomendations welcome

Td sensor is great but very expensive, what about sunline super pe, the bright green can't be missed!

Hey mate,

No issues with TD sensors performance however I had difficulty seeing it in low light conditions especially under structure. I'm partially colour blind to greens and browns though. I've since moved to Castaway

Cheers Joelozzy when I think about it orange/red are the first colours to become practically invisible underwater so low light or shadows might make it hard to see also!

might just go with the fluro green sunline instead

Is 8lb sunline super pe close in diametre and casting performance as castaway 10lb?

Toray Radius in 10lb is good.
It's about $60 for 200m. It changes colour every 25m from memory.

I've been using TD Sensor on one of my spools for 6+ months and no issues at all. I've mentioned it before and will again, Daiwa Egi Sensor is the best I've used thus far!

I had exactly the same problem seeing braid in most conditions. Ive tried just about every colour etc including td sensor and sunline super pe and finally settled on fireline exceed in 8lb. I will admit i still cant see it in every situation but its certainly been the best so far. I use sunline v-hard 3lb leader and keep it short and ive noticed my catch rate increase since the change.

I've only used it in 4lb and found it horrible, windknots at every oppotunity.

I'm really impressed by Fireline exceed, its orange in colour and fairly thin or stick with usnline.
