Sunline Super PE

Hey guys just want to know what experience guys have had with this stuff.I have 8lb on my reel.Ive had afew wind knots id expect that until the line settles. It casts great but getting wind knots out its a mongrel.I used Berkley Fireline Exceed with success with a wind knot all i had to do was pull and the knot came out but this stuff i pull firmly and it breaks.Should it break so easily?

My 6lb Super PE always broke when I wind knotted, so I changed braid all together ahahah, I am using Fireline at the moment but I am going to change soon to Castaway..

Same here with the 6lb, I have taken it off the reel I had it on. Prefer to spend my time fishing not picking out wind knots.

use 6lb sunline on my reels, never had a wind knot that hasnt been my own doing (leaving line hanging over the top of reel knob from slack winds on windy day).. in saying that, thats only happened twice.

ive caught big everything on this line, last decent fish being 91cm 5.5kg jewie.

as for 8lb, i'd asume it to just be a tad stronger.

wind knots have nothing at all to do with the line... its the person casting.
hence why theres always someone that get "wind knots" from every single braid on the market.

Could be the leader although it seems to be a very common problem, i don't have issues with any other line really just had it with 6lb Super. There seems to be a real mixture of opinions some having no issues and some having heaps of issues???

I think my casting is okay and i know others who's casting seems fine so how can it be put down simply to casting style?? Could be a mixture of things such as how it is put on the spool, leader length, types of knots used or its just more prone to wind knots for some reason, ect ect. Easy fix for me though i just won't buy 6lb again
