Best way to wash your boat
So I am just wondering when people are washing their boats after use, what products they use on their fiberglass boats and what they have found works well

Just fresh water on the lawn does me. Occasionally go to the local car wash and run it through the manual was bay.

There was a time no too long ago when car shampoo had a high salt content to aid cleaning and there was a thought washing something salty with a salty liquid wasn't ideal. A few of the car suds had "salt free" written on the and boat washes were also supposed to be salt free.
Not sure if it still happens but worth checking a few labels next time you see a range. smky |

I have a poly so it doesn't really count but...
If you are just washing off salt, fresh water is the best thing to use. Maybe with some CRC salt terminator. I use it on my outboard. http://www.crcindustries.com.au/salt-terminator For dirty scum build up if you fish in dirty water a normal car/boat wash and a gentle cloth would be fine. Salt content isn't really an issue if you are rinsing it off anyway. I'd be more worried about it rusting your car over time!

Usually outboard and trailer more then boat itself, and blood if you let some fish thrash round

I polish my outboard.... But it's near new, and it's black metalic I think. I got the boat and trailer for free so just plain water for a rinse after use for them.
