Tica Libra 2500 - Shaft Travel

Gday All,

Im wondering if anyone else has a Tica Libra 2500 with worm gears?

My problem / question is the main shaft is VERY sloppy and has about 1cm - 2cm of travel, so I guess im wondering if this is normal for these reels as I have never had a reel with worm gears before...

This happens with or without the spool on it so I dont think the problem is with the spool.

Any advice would be great as I am about to take the reel back to where I brought it from as I only brought it a matter of months ago and it has always been that way.
