All up it's cost me around $350-$400 to do everything, not including the purchase of the fish finder & I did all of the work myself. Here's some pics of some of the mods I've done, most of them just using stuff I had laying around the garage.
1st pic: PVC rod holders (pivot side to side not up & down) & fold down shelf for finder, pliers & scissors (made from old tacklebox tray, also made the swivel mount for sounder out of aluminium accelerator pedal)
2nd pic: In seat tacklebox (slides right out)
3rd pic: Anchor holder, also known as PVC pipe fitting
4th pic: Removable shelf for flares or whatever
5th pic: Piece of closed cell foam for hanging lures/rigs on to dry or be re-used.

The floor panels lift up & the lifejackets are stowed underneath. The seats are pivot mount & simply slide over the existing seats so I can have them in any arrangement I like. The floor is made of 12mm marine ply with 5 coats of marine varnish & topped off with artificial lawn. The floor frame is full aluminium. There's also a splash gaurd for the finder that I made up out of one of the kids old lunchboxes.

Now I've just got to wait for this bloody wind to go away so I can get it out on the water again.

She looks great. amazing what you can do with some thought and things laying around the house. well done. you might have to get a wipper snipper to keep that grass down thats growing on the floor. Haha.

Looks great mate, a little fish catching machine

I would make sure that the anchor is secured well if that is where it is going to be when travelling. If it came lose while underway u could have rope around the prop and be in a very dangerous place very quickly.
Besides that love the build

It's good that you put the flooring in no more sore feet.

Hey,

Thats brilliant, well done and it's done on a limited budget!

As said above, please be careful that the anchor doesnt jump out and either dig in the bottom or wrap around the prop.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy with the result for the amount of money I spent. Don't worry about the anchor, it's in there alot more solid than it looks & is not going anywhere in a hurry. I only use this rig for river fishing & only on calm days so it won't be getting bounced around very much. I always carry a couple of occy straps in the boat with me so if things look like getting hairy it will only take me a few seconds to hook the bottom end of the anchor to the battery box that's under the floor behind the front thwart. When I'm towing to or from the ramp the anchor will just be thrown up inside the bow as per normal.

Next on the list is a leccy but that's not going to be until the end of the year now.
