Should I be worried that my reel is coming from singapore when I thought I was buying from Japan?

Jim,

Only Shimano's top end stuff are Made in Japan these days, Yes those who have already mentioned Made in Malaysia is correct for the Stradic Ci4.

I had 4 Stradic Ci4's before I upgraded to my Steezs, the only reels I'd ever bought off Shimano and never had a problem with them, and I've owned a couple of Stella's too.

I'd have no Drama and picking up another couple, they're an awesome reel for their Price! Don't be worried to much about the Malaysia thing, these reels were bullet proof for me, The stradic Ci4 is to what The Sol is to Daiwa..

Tough & Cheap
