Gee I don't know about the rest of you but I'm struggling with having too many great looking softies & not enough hours in the week to use them all
I just got another delivery from Warren with Atomic grubs & some Ecogear & more sliders & a couple hard bodies & add this to the stuff I got last week & I have a lot of testing to do. This plastic fishing is getting like a disease or an addiction & every new thing that comes out I have to have it. Every damn thing looks like a fish catcher & needs to be swum. Its starting to cut into my drinking time now Help what can I do I'm even going now to toss softies in a 20 knot southerly Is there a cure

My name is David - and I am a Bream Spinning addict
![]() Hi David... I know what you mean, I spent in excess of $200 last week, only to fish the weekend and decide I need more, putting an order through on monday night for some more $$$$$........ I just don't feel right unless I've got every colour of the styles I like.... most never having a swim My mates love me though, every time I clean out the tackle bag they get what I don't want - and usually end up catching as many fish as me Cheers,

Hi my name is Richard and have been involved in an INTERVENTION as a result I have been told to come here as people fear I am a Bream Addict
Hi Richard, take a seat next to Dave and tell us how it all began Well I was in control when I started out, but then I kept seeing new softie colours that looked the goods, and thought I gotta have that, then another, gotta have that also and so on, even looking at them in the water wants to makes me want to dive in and take it. Ive sort of managed to tame the beast - (mmmm) sort of??, Ive weened myself off softs by catching a couple of fish on hards, but now I seem to be going beserk on them - gotta get a couple of this colour cause its me fav and some of that. mmmm I like the way that swims - better get every colour of those. I even start to shake when I head into a tackle shops, because I know i`ll be coming out with some hards (used to be softs)..... And I have the problem of just starting plano No2 for them as well - but now I have many free spaces which need filling. I suppose I should be happy Ive tamed some of me addiction..... Although it didn`t stop me calling into 5 tackle shops on Sunday for a nosy... Is there a toll free No we can call for help??.......... people are starting to wonder why I wake up during the night yelling "Im On".... They think Im being dirty....But I love it, and it makes me happy and thats all that matters cheers Richo

Who can go past a tackle shop?
Boy oh boy, do I like cruising the isles of a tackle shop! Even Kmart will have me fondling, caressing new shiny things. Soft Plastics are the new vice. If heroin addicts can get there stuff for free from the govt, the least Bob Carr could do would be to hand out SP's to bona fide heavily addicted SP bream fisherman, like c'mon, its 2003 !!!! Maybe I'll ask my GP if I can get some on prescription? Cheers, Jim |

BlueFin,
I don't think that a Father could get a son addicted to anything better, except maybe cleaning up their rooms, taking out the bins.................................... Jim
