I want to buy one of the cheap run out fuegos from usa does the 1500 size (TDFUEGO150A) reel have the same size body as 1000 size reel with a 2000 size spool or is it a compleatly different spool and body size?

buy now, ask later.
they only have the 1000 and 1500 left and i'm sure they won't last.
if you don't end up wanting it, you'll be able to easily sell it for what you bought it for incl shipping IMO

I can't answer your question, but if you look at daiwa's website you can see that the specs between the 1500 and the 2000 are very similar, with the difference being the line capacity of the spool, and 1 inch difference of line retrieve per crank.

So I would hazard a guess to say the 1500 is like a 2000 with a shallower spool ?

Anyone want to confirm ? I won't know until next week..

Im pretty sure the 1500 and 2000 share the same body just different spool sizes and I THINK the 1000 is a different body size.

Bought one about 6 weeks ago at the $164 price in the 2000 size and its unreal for the price. My brother has a bluvias and its identical. Have another 3 2000's coming next week haha

You will love it mate

Very smooth. Hard to fault. Champagne on beer budget.

i've used mine on bream, flathead and sea mullet. a few of the fish were decent size and weight and the fuego handled them with ease. i wasn't using much drag but it was super smooth and letting go when needed.

it's smaller and lighter than my 2000 Sol but to me doesn't feel as smooth. great reel nonetheless.
just watch where you put the reel, i'm sure the matte finish would scratch and scuff quite easily!

I got a 2000 a while ago and I love it,
I've had a 2500 luvias for years and I've given it heaps and it does it with ease, this is why I jumped at the 2000 fuego the minute I found out they where $164.
I wander if other usa stores will follow suit and sell their stock cheap.
I'd love another 2500 or even a 3000.

I just noticed they reduced the price of the 1000 and 1500 fuego's to $154.
