If the weather clears this weekend will be the big test! Will let you know but the references I rang said they ride awesome in calm and chop. My last rig was crap in chop and it was the one thing I wanted to fix!

Nice looking rig, congrats!

What's the thickness of the sides and the bottom? How big is the livewell?

Is that a freshwater model Kota?

Cheers,

The hull apart from transom is a one piece pressed hull with the Transom welded in. The hull is 2.5mm and I am not sure about the transom but it is unbelievably solid! My last rig I had the max motor on the back and I had problems with the transom and motor torque...I am absolutely sure that won't be an issue this time. This transom would take a bigger motor for sure but is only legal to a 60HP

The live well is close enough to 100litres with a divider if required. Yep freshwater Kota....It was black so had to stick with the theme!! Will see how it handles 100% salt to at best brackish water! I am very meticulous so should be fine.....I do know a few ppl that run the fresh Kota's in salt and are fine. My last setup was a RT55AP and it did a LOT of work but I managed to kill the electrics in the top of it twice and replaced a part (Can't remember what it was ) down the bottom.

Cheers

Finney
