reel for terez 10-20lb?

hey guys
gonna shortly purchase the shimano terez 10-20lb for throwing plastics for jew, big flatty and watever else is around. just wondering if anyone out there is using this rod and wat reel they have on it? my local is getting stock back in so havent had a chance to try anything on it yet but was thinking sumthing like a 4000 biomaster or a 3000 daiwa....cost limit probs around $400. will obviously have a play when the rod comes in but just seeing if anyone else has any ideas

cheers agz

Hey agz_67, have you considered the new stradic FJ's? From what I've gathered the series of reels was designed to be matched with the Terez (hence the matching colour scheme of the pearl white). I think they would balance up perfectly, and wouldn't even bust your budget (in fact you'd have a lot spare for some great braid etc)...

I've had a bit of a squizzy at the rods personally but haven't had the pleasure to own one yet...

Hope the reel hunting goes well mate.

Yeah I'd go a ci4 4000 matched with one of these: http://www.rayannes.com.au/products/...-now-only-269/

personally I'd go the black mamba (which matches nicely with the 4000 ci4) but the King Brown may be more suited to you style. Note these rods have titanium sics and are ultra lightweight whereas the terez rods are more brutes. If you're a little girl like me and cant hold a fishing rod if its too heavy then the ci4-berkley combo would be sweet. The ci4 stradics are going for $230 now and if you add that to the $269 your looking at spending about $500 on an awesome combo. Get your local to match prices, otherwise you're probably going to be looking at a fair wack of dough for postage Check out the nitro rods too, the viper is an absolute powerhouse, however the magnum butt may be more suited to you needs. Note that when it comes to power the nitro rods really are underrated, even the vapor models.
