Daiwa Tierra
Anyone got one? Are they any good? Anything to compare them too?
Looking at buying a 2500 model and using it on a slightly larger stick than what I usually use as a all-rounder for BIG bream and small kings / Snapper. For the heavily discounted prices available are they worth it? or should I look elsewhere? |

ive only held one in the shop, never actually used one, i wasnt impressed with the RRP for the real but discounted could be worth it, maybe someone that has one can chime in.

I have just purchased a 2000 Tierra, and they have a very nice feel.. I have not had the chance to fish with the reel as yet..
Its quite similar in looks and feel to my 2000 Triforce, although I suspect that the Tierra is slightly upmarket (it has more bearings than the Triforce.). The only thing I found strange is that paint finish on the Tierra is flat blue.... There is no gloss clear coat over the blue like on the Triforce.. What price can you buy a 2500 for?

Under $130 overseas. I think they are about $170 here.
