I Don't buy it but heard the sad news today most of its regular writers have left including Steve Starling after 26 years of writing,a lot of dramas with new owner/s and directions they want to take,its a sad day for folks that used to enjoy reading the magazine.

Decembers issue is the last one with the regular writers i believe,

Thats bad news. I have been collecting this mag since the early 80's. Although I have been a bit disappointed with the subscription side to it lately. New issues out on the shelves for up to 3 weeks before i receive mine and the ones on the news stands come with free gifts and other free mags.

That's something I dislike about the subscription, having to wait 3 weeks longer than the newsagent edition and never receive the freebies the newsagent edition gets.

Now with the high quality regular contributors gone the value just went down again.

thats funny, I'm only subscribes to NSWFM and I always get my issue a few days before its on my newsagents shelf, maybe because I am isolated it takes a bit longer to get the the paper shop though.

I contacted them a while back as it was annoying me that I was receiving them so late. They blamed Australian Post for the problem, so who knows?

I get flylife a good week or more before it gets on the stand...... auspost mustn't like modern fishing??
