WANTED: Minn Kota Foot Pedal

Just wondering if anyone has a Riptide pedal sitting around before I have to order a new one.

Or if anyone could help me with a problem with my current one, It doesn't want to turn left, the Auto Pilot works fine both directions so it is obviously the pedal.

It's the simplest of the pedals with only the power toggle and the left and right directional pedals.

Cheapest option is to order a new board and cable for your pedal. Comes as one piece and you just pull the pedal apart and place in the new one... Easy job to do.

If you pull your pedal apart you will probably see that one of the bubbles (top left section) on the circuit board has popped and allowed water to get in which then corrodes the metal on that bit of the board so that it no longer gets the signal to turn.

anywhere that sells BLA gear or Minn Kotas should be able to help you out.

I've got one sitting here that will be of no use to me shortly. PM me if you are interested. Alternatively try northland marine in the US (Northlandmarine.com).

I've just ordered a new armature (motor assembly), full lower seal kit, V2 control board, prop, prop nut kit, battery gauge and battery gauge decal. Came to $260 plus postage. Amazingly easy and great value compared to sourcing it locally.

I really couldn't recommend those guys enough.

hey anto, where about do you live? I would be interested in grabbing your pedal depending on the price.

Thanks for telling me about that US site, but the pedal is $70 and the shipping is $76, maybe i did something wrong, but would be fair cheaper looking somewhere else if that is the price to ship the pedal here
