steering cables....

hi all,

trying to replace the steering cable on my boat as the casing is split and it keeps claging up with gunk.

i've unbolted the steering wheel and steering box at the helm no problem.

i've un bolted all the bits i can figure out at the outboard (honda 50 if it makes a differance) but still cant get the cable shaft to dissconect from the motor.

whats the trick? can anyone shed some light on this for me .....

If all else fails use a bigger hammer!

Great motto and follow it religously unfortunately it rarely works out the way you intend.

Gets a result all the same.

"I like the boy" purely in a none racist manner of course. l can see into the not too distant future a man willing to sit down and polish his sprocket...those will be the times, the best of times.
