Gladiator Kozami 60

Hello bream anglers. Today i purchased myself 2 Gladiator Kozami's in 2 different colours just to test them out, shame it was windy when i got home but they look very good, i just replaced the VMC's with owners and keen to try them. Just wondering if anyones had any success on these lures?
And what colours you favour?

Cheers.

G'Day Breamboy I've got the brown back, pale chartreuse sides stripe version and have had three or four sessions using it. I found it a bit hard to walk fishing from the yak but have improved its action since fishing from the bank with a little more height from the water. I've been chasing bass in the creeks with it and had a cracker fish last Sat. smash it coming up from under a log pulling the lure under but not connecting to the hooks - God knows how. I found it easier to walk than the Scumdog and are really looking forward to the warmer weather as I think this lure will pin some fish. Good price too !

Nah mate when I saw your post I went to have a look for the box to get the name of the colour on mine but must have tossed it. I think they do a cicada pattern as well which was alot cheaper than the premium lures. I wasn't going to upgrade the hooks but I have Owners and Decoy's so maybe to prevent some heartache of a lost fish I just might. Pat.

Thanks heaps Steve I think you will be getting some feedback on those lures as I think they will go off. Breamboy the colour I have is the 4th one down. Steve any tips on working these lures as I have only starting using them in the last month or so but are taking a real liking to them especially over shallow weeds and structure for bass. I'm using 10 lb fireline,10 lb Maxima mono (about 5.5 feet) and are tying a loop knot to the ring. I've been using a small constant short stab of the rod tip as I retrieve and are getting a walking action but find it hard to have a constant side to side motion. Nearly forgot to mention the rod is a Shimano Catana 702 - not top of the line by any standards but so far the fish aren't phased Cheers Pat. PS might just go for a night fish right now tea can wait !

The second colour on the chart is great! caught 2 bream on them so far (one bream was 30cm and the other was 26cm). Great action on them. Didn't have to replace the hooks either.

After several hits on the Kozami surface walker without hook up I finally pinned a couple of bass with the lure this morning. If I'd got there an hour earlier I may have caught more but a late night session last night meant sleep was a priority. Both fish hit the lure at rest just after landing. Pat

PM Kingpin above he should be able to help. ####Beechy I would have to agree these lures are going to be up there getting some great results. I didn't feel the need to upgrade the hooks have you had some unstoppables bending them ? Pat.

Cheers mate I'm going to give the lure a go tonight and see if the bass can track it down.
