i find my Gold scorpion 52 rises up from the depth far too quick for the bream to have a smash at it. then on the Pauses it just goes the the top like a balloon.
i have tried putting heavier hooks and split rings but still too quick to the surface.

We've just ordered some Gold Scorp 52's. They should be here this week some time.

To stop rising so quick, try a small split shot on the top of the middle treble eye.

... or get thin solder wire and wrap it evenly and neatly around the middle treble... that plus heavier split rings and hooks should mean a slow rise...

how are ya guys, i though you might like to hear that even small bream hit 52's size doesn't seem to matter, one day i got 6 bream, some at only around 5cm taking them, and i use baitcasting outfits so i cant reall use 35's etc but 52's work brilliantly
