ZX Hooks ?

This topic may have been covered before, but does anyone make up their own ZX hooks, rather than buying the proper replacements ?

Decoy single hooks are a primo replacement for any treble on any hard body, my tournament lures are all rigged with them. certainly a better option against breakage. bending and breaking trebles is not fun when fishing for $

cheers

I don't quite see the point of that when the orginals have those dangly bits of rubber hanging off. Surely the fish don't care.
Anyway, i made up my own with vanfook and decoy singles, with some old 40 lb braid, but find it difficult to tie it all up so the hooks still sit a short distance. Beats paying for original replacements.
