I heard great reports about it from a guy who was at AFTA. No report on when they will be in the country.

these could be the pick of the Yak reels.

I'm going to get one for SWMBO, not that she's a Yak

Interesting read that Stella Fella. Is there reports of all the Mag seal reels doing the same thing?

For $300ish the new Caldia looks like a good option!

I did read a report on another forum, in which someone was using a certate 3000 spooled with 30lb braid to spin for tuna, and the anti reverse failed. seeing as the ferrofluid in the saltiga got into the anti reverse, I'd say thats probably what happened in the certate. I now that getting excessive amounts of oil or grease in an anti reverse clutch completely stuffs them. thats not the only problem with the mag seal though. there are more long term issues i can see arising with them.

big call on the certate since you don't actually know what happened to it.
Mag-Seal reels are fantastic as far as im concerned.

Mag sealed, zaion bodied, machined handle all for $300ish?
Hmmmm Stradic "Flex more than Zyzz" Ci4 or new Caldia? Easy decision. Caldia!
