I was wondering what the preferred size of reel people use for their bream reels is. I'm working on the theory that the different brands have similar sizing conventions eg. 1000,1500,2000,2500 etc and so it shouldn't matter what the brand is.
Thanks, SimonT |

G`Day Simon,
Im a 1000 man for sure. Stradic/Biomaster whatever, but 1000 is a great size, some 1500s are also pretty small. cheers

Started with 2000 size, although happy with it I prefer something a bit smaller and more importantly lighter. Bream sticks are very light rods and I believe that they are better suited to the lightest reel possible IMHO. I recently bought a Stradic 1000 and I am very happy with it.

this should help
just to be differnt
I have a Pflueger Trion 4725 which is basicly a size 1000 and an ABU CD4 1000 which is a size 2500 in a shimano or daiwa so you see it can get confusing! |
