Most used colour??

Hey,

I'm thinking of getting some lures pimped but its very hard to pick which colour to get them in??

I tend to lean towards a shrimp colour when going to grab a hard body (e.g atomic muddy prawn).

But interested to hear what others find to work best??

Also if you have had lures pimped what colours did you get and did u have any pics??

Cheers
Marty

Carmen Red is a must. Like you said Muddy Prawn is great. I like the Wakasagi Jackall Colt Minnows also any Greens and silvers/purple. Black and Gold for Trout lures.

Ghost gill, brown suji and ghost wagasaki are three good colours and will cover most bases.

If I had to pick one it would be brown suji, works in dirty and clear water very well.

hey mate i have hade a heap pimped, 007 from tiemco, ghost gill brown, brown sugi shrimp, sugi shrimp and purple orange belly. I currently have two smith trout colours with dan as well as a laydown minnow colour, ghost shad from zipbaits and 339 from ecogear as well as some others. He does an awesome job as others will attest to but currently he is quoting a 12-15 week turn around as his back log is so big. Mine have taken 5 months and there due to be painted this week. As for pics have a look at the website

You can call him on these-0403 625 202 or 63 832094

The website is www.jdlurestas.com

That thread on SFT is the best place to see his work. Or Eddystones report in the Tassie forum has some of his recent lures.

I'll be getting some done soon hopefully.

Yeah and you dont have to get all the same colour you can mix them up. He said he can do it cheaper if you do all the same colour.
