exceler or stradic FI
g'day all
as the title states which would be better, will be matched to a MFraider 2-4kg finesse bream price is not a matter as local store has them for around 150 dollars and also what size 1000 or 2000 personally i was thinking a 2000 size as i wont just be chasing bream but also flathead, squire and small pelagics like bonito and what line should i put on etheir reels advice will be helpfull cheers Nuggert |

I'd run with the stradic fi mate, I have a couple and they're a great robust little reel for the price. Might have to make it a 2500 though as I don't think it comes in a 2000.

You will only need a 1000 for Flathead and Bonito but you never know if you may hook up to something bigger in the Bonito Schools so personally I would go the 2500. 6lb braid will do the trick maybe Sunline Super PE and 4lb flurocarbon leader for bream and whiting and 10lb flurocarbon leader for Bonito and Flathead. Good luck

+1 Stradic FI
As far as size the best idea is to try both on the rod if you can.

im sort of leaning more towards the stradic than the exceler because i found out that warrenty on the exceler only last for 12 months were's the stradic and other shimano reels have a ten years warrenty.

more importantly they are a better reel and definitely last longer!
