Daiwa Tierra

G'day all,
Im looking to upgrade reel and thought this could be allright. How do these reels go? Or is there others at this price or less and they are as good? It will be going on a Samaki Zing.

Cheers Liam.

I've seen the Tierra for about $170-180 i reckon save a bit extra and get a ci4, great reels. Although have not used a Tierra.

I had one quite awhile back, mine came with a really sticky drag wasn't impressed to say the least. And after a few days of use the anti-reverse started to go. Don't know if I just got a dodgy one, but still wasn't impressed. Mate, Mo Tackle have got Stradic FI's going for $159.00, much more of a solid reel then the Tierra's IMO.

Grab the tierra liam..they are bullet proof...have that slight V shaped line lay which eliminates tangles and they are affordable.

dont waste your money on a Ci4 or a stradic

i didnt like the gekka...it had too much play in the handle...i picked up 3 all up and they all had play..but at least the spool main shaft didnt move in and out of the reel body like every CI4 and stradic i picked up
