Question Diawa Heartland X vs IM6

Can anyone help me with model #'s specs etc.

What is the difference between a Diawa IM6 and a Heartland X?

I'm looking at this model

Daiwa Heartland X Spin rod HLX662MLFS 6'6 2pce 2-4kg

Is this a better blank than the IM6 advertised in the online store?

(Daiwa Heartland IM6 Spinning Rod 6'6" (2 piece))

I've been looking for info everywhere but I'm still at a loss.

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Bierdo

There is only One Man for this job

Chris Lemess, he is the best fishing techno nerd in the country as far as i know, he is fishing the Grand Final at the moment in The Clyde. If no one can offer you any info PM him and wait for his reply other than that you could try Daiwa themselves, ask for customer service and explain your situation (02) 9453 5866.
Regards Geoff P

I have two Daiwa Procaster-X rods (both are baitcasters) and they are IM7 graphite.

I believe that means they have more fibres of carbon per whatever than IM6.

But i don't think that means they are any better, only that they will have a different action.

I think they would both be better than each other depending on what you wanted to do with them at the time.

Confusion reigns supreme
