Gladiator lures
hey everyone. recently i got a Gladiator hip baby 40 out of a fishing magazine and was wondering what people think of this brand of gear.

The soft plastics get thrown around a bit I havent played with the hard bodies but have picked them up, the dont seem to be very refined. But as I said I havent used them

crap hooks and complete copys(atleast not all of them).
i bought a gladiator flitter and was a ripoff of a smith towadi!! and it had hooks that a fly could break!! and they have a ripoff of a baby vibe. they are good though if u fish really snaggy country. cheers, BTF |

The hooks on the flitters are rubbish indeed, BUT change the hooks and you have a great little budget lure to throw around the canals.
Caught plenty on these little lures. Just can't throw them when it's windy. |

The hip baby have caught loads of fish for me too. My only problem with them is they break if accidentally thrown against hard structure like concrete pylons. My tacklebox would be full of them if I wasn't prone to smashing my lures from time to time.
