Fads

Thought I'd give an update for any interested, unfortunatley no pics as if I wasn't catching I was playing deckie.
Hit the Furano fad last Saturday in seas that were pushing the comfort level and hooked 3 dollies and landed quite a few tuna up around 600mm long . Dollies were up around 700mm with some @ an estimated 1400mm following the tuna to the boat but not taking placcies.
Headed back out this morning in near glass conditions to the two southern fads ( Marine Services and FYC?) and the Club Marine FAD. Straight out to the southern most FAD with half a dozen dollies in the boat between 600- 900mm before they went quiet and we moved on to the next FAD. Landed a few more there but even tho they were busting the surface, bird activity was non existant and they just didn't seem to be on the chew so, with a deadline fast approaching, we headed back via the Club Marine FAD. Unfortunately we couldn't find anything holding up there except the big police boat doing their checks so we headed in.
