You will be using bugger all fuel so you might as well use 98.
We could all answer where to check the oil but I suggest you read the manual or find a manual where you will find the answer along with any other things you should be checking. Worth too much money not to spend the time reading the manual. |

DON'T use E10 the ethanol and fuel will seperate if left for too long and stuff your engine.

You shouldnt have too many problems finding a manual on the net or your local dealer. The motor has a dipstick for you to check your oil like a car. They say you should check it before every trip. Talk to your dealer about what oil to use.
I would use 98 on everything I own anyway but the biggest benefit in your boat would be the extra additives it would likely have. It will have additives that will prevent it from going stale which is a big problem for boats as often they sit for months not being used. Quick google search found this. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/assets/s...07-11_1399.pdf |

Mik, I have a yammie 60 4st, my local yam dealer said to use normal ULP (no ethanol & not the higher octane fuels). never had a problem with it & its the earleir carbie model.
