Stainless prop for etec.

Has anyone switched to a rogue 4 blade stainless prop for the etec?
I'm thinking of buying one, i just wanted to see if anyone uses one, and if its worth getting it or not?

I'm currently running a viper 19pitch (3 blade) on my Etec 90.

Its sweet, could do with a 20 if they made one...

Raker is also an option for me, but I'm not sure its worth the cash...

Dror has run 4 blade solas props on Etecs before, I'm sure he'll chip in once he see's the post....

Im like Shauno- I run the 19p viper and its a very sweet prop. I could actually use an 18 but it will do.

What are you trying to achieve with an extra blade? If your looking for speed dont bother, but if you want more lift out of the hole then go for it.

i was just putting the 4 bladed one up as an option,
Just anything stainless in general really.
Speed preferably, the boat has enough get up and go at the moment. It has 50hp on it with a hydrofoil at the moment and push out about 40 knots full with two wells, but could always have the little bit more.
So.. The vipers the go?

The 4 bladed props, generally increase grip, good for offshore use and holeshot as stated previously.

Is your motor a 75 Etec or 90hp?

If it is a 90 and you are after speed, the options are a Viper in 17 or 19" pitch or a Raker in 18 or 20".

What do you currently run prop wise?

and what revs do you pull 1 up and fully loaded?

also

What is your average holeshot time from a standing start (average out 3 tests)?

If you let me know these details we might be able to advise better....

Cheers Shauno
