Shimano Stradic Vs Pfleuger Patriarch

Time for an up grade... im keen on these couple any suggestions?

You're going to get a lot of "Stradic" and/or "Pflueger is crap".... My advice, give each a feel on your rod and go from there. The Patriarchs are VERY light. Read: Steez light... One is bound to feel better on your rod than the other.

EDIT: I would go a Stradic CI4.. That's coming from someone who really like Pflueger gear. The only reason I wouldn't choose the Patriarch is because it's an unproven reel. If you don't mind being a guinea pig then by all means, go the Pflueger

I have several Shimano Stradic reels and can't praise them enough for that value for money. I do look after them which helps but the oldest one is about 5 years old and hasn't missed a beat. Beacuse of this when I need a new reel I go straight to the Stradic.

Mate I bought a stradic FI and a stradic CI4 not long ago,they haven't seen the water yet and was wandering how you look after your reels cause I want to keep mine in good condition for years and years.
