Quantum Energy PT - 100SPTs baitcaster

Anyone got one of these? I just bought one to use as a bream/bass reel - should be OK in saltwater. Anyone know how they cast light lures? This will be my interim reel until tax time next year when I buy a Shimano Conquest 50.

if you have a rod with a reasonable tip it should be able to cast largish bream lures ok, but if using lighter lures and soft plastics you would've been better off with an eggbeater
