Chasing a lowrance

Hey guys i am chasing a lowrance hds with side scan, been quoted all kinds of prices from victoria/australia and overseas, reckon im up for a quid but before i part with my hard earned was wondering if anyone knows of where i can get a good deal? even second hand would be a option if in good condition, i thought i found one yesterday but only to find out the US model does not work in Australia so im back on the hunt. Any feedback would be great as im over calling boat and tackle stores that ether dont have them or want my first born for the set up.

i paid $750 for the hds5x in DohDohDoh,structure was $630.or bias boating will price match.hope this helps.

Hey mate - also in the market for a Hds. How come the US model doesn't work here??

the yanks have hooked it up to some data base over there and does not work anywhere else (so im told)
