hardz on the flats

i am going to warrnambool this week coming and am wondering what hardbody techniques work the best on bream on the flats (in the hopkins behind the uni). you dont have to fish this river just flats in general.
also what hardz worh the best for you???

any help would be very welcome.
cheers mitch.

mate, try some surface lures if the flatz are less than 1.5m deep.
some to try are the lucky craft sammy, ecogear px45, jazz zapper, gobo popper, r2s popper ect.

just keep a nice constant retrieve and when you see a little wake form behind the llure, pause it and just twitch it every second. works for the whiting, bream up here haha.

cheers

Whenever i fish the flats at hopkins i work off the clarity of the water to choose my colours but its usually a dark coloour, i use everything from jackall chubbies deep to sx40s and atomic hardz its usually a great spot on the flats behind the uni and even better flats are on the corner further up, ive seen tiddlers to stonkers caught there, and on the other flats theres plenty of rocks to wok off and run you lures over.
