Question New Bream rod $300 Max

Hey Guys....

Just wanted to ask you all what u think are the best rods available for bream up to $300 bucks? I will mainly use soft plastics but from time to time I throw some hard body lures around...

Ive looked through all the previous posts and there is plenty of information about entry rods and then the top of the line stuff but not alot of info about middle of the range rods.. If you think that there rods that would suit me from any price from $100 to $300 then any info you can provide will be greatly apreciated...

Thanks...

Blake

You might be able to pick up an G Loomis SJR720 GL2 for around the 300 mark, (give or take maybe 20 bucks).
I have one and its a quality rod!
The Daiwa and shimano range of rods between 100 and 150 are quality entry to middle range rods. Have a chat to GeoffP in hte shop...he should be able to give you the right advice on the matter.

BHH, you're probably in the Strudwick SPS range. I'm pretty sure the budget would stretch to one of these...again give Geoff a call in the shop, he can help with these.

Hi again Blake,

Nice to see a few locals on board. Just realized you are in Wollongong. So are we! Check the two pms I sent you and definitely give us a call.

Btw, three cheers for Warren (Breammaster) for such a great site. May it continue to flourish and bring more anglers together around the country.

Cheers,
Cindy

BREAMING RODS UNDER $300

BHH,
Have a good look at G.Loomis in the GL2 range. They have just Re-vamped their range and also dropped their prices b up to%20.
There are all sorts of tapers, lengths and strengths in the GL2 range that are more then adequate for a breaming rod and you still get your Lifetime Expiditor Warranty. Check out your local G.Loomis dealer or give me a call (07) 3391 3065 and I will be able to go through the different models with you.
