Hi All,

Just got back from DohDohDoh and they have a special on TT lures switchblade

i was not sure what ones were good for bream so i got the following

1/4 oz purple bruiser

1/8 oz purple glimmer

they were 2 for $20....was this a good deal? were the colours and sizes a good choice?

ive found in my area the brownis clours like gold noggin and copper head in 1/8oz work best where are u located mate

im in sydney....but going up to port macq this weekend so wanna try them out....are TT lures good?

is the 1/4oz too big?

43mm is never too big. I actually only use 40-45mm blades

2 for 20 is a ripper deal mate. the 1/4 maaay be a little big for breambos. the colours are a pretty good choice, but if you get the chance id pick up the dark red colourd one as well. (copperhead i think).

hi guys....good to hear i got a good deal....anaconda had a sale little while ago and i got 1/8oz berkley big eye blades...one of them being a dark red colour

just never used them...but i intend on using them all including my plastics this weekend....i have only ever caught 1 flathead on a lure....that was a soft plastic

so im not too sure if i got the action right or what but ill give it a go again this weekend in port macq

to get comfortable with the SPs.... cast... let it drop and wait 5 secs......slow lift ..... let it drop and let it sit for 5 secs.... repeat. That should get some fish and you can then start playing with the retrieve methods from there.

yea i love baldes
but i usually dont use 1/4's only 1/12's but i have had lots of luck on then expessially on the turn of the tide

sweet thanks cortinaboy....ill do that from now on....i seriously have about 30 packs of all different sp's...just dont use them cause i cant catch anything on them....but ill try your method

can i use that same method on blades?

I like their blades. Have caught Bass, Whiting and flathead on them. Still no Bream.....but i'm sure they will smash them.

yeah mate fish ya blades just the same as ya placcies. and dont be afraid to tweak your retrive a little bit, instead of a slow lift giv it 2 or 3 quick hops. but as has been said, make sure you giv it that good 5 or 6 seconds to sink back to the bottom and the fish to pick it up

make sure you don't use them in snaggy areas cause they just get hooked up and you lose them.

My favorite retieve is 2 or 3 big quick rips and allow to fall to the bottom again.Always got hit on the drop never been picked off the bottom.
