Black blades

I was just wondering if black coloured blades are effective for bream.
Are they good to use in clear or murky water.
I saw a few at a local tackle shop that were going pretty cheap so i was gonna buy some.
They were strikepros i think.

Soooo racist.

I have a couple of "black" blades, actaully one is very very very dark red and the other is black and they do alright. In the words of my blade master "make it look like a crab not a fish... Think like a crab." He does a lot of recreational substances but I think he might be onto something.

I will buy some after hearing all the good feedback. so in murky water, they work good because they cast a silouette, is this true?

The black ones are awesome. Bream love Mussels (and Crabs). If you check you live well base after a good session the most commonly found element is the mussel shell they have regurgitated.... and low and behold 9 times out of ten it will be black
