Lure solution, shallow running and long casting?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good Bream/EP lure that is shallow running (1 to 2 feet) but casts a mile? Thanks.

Zipbait Rigge 35f. I use a few shallow runners for that dept and found this one to reach the longest cast for me. Rigge 35 may be hard to find now tho.

hey there stacer,

Lucky craft 65 flash minnow, my fav at the moment.

They can be hard to find some times but pretty sure the site sponsor fishin.com.au has them.

you can make them dive to 5 foot, but i high stick them and they run around 1-2. good for different depths , very versatile.

My go to lures for shallow water is a Rigge 56 or for a crank bait is a SR Hickory.

They cast really well, even when the wind is up they cast a lot better any thing else i have used.

Riggie 56's. Smolts are also deadly but don't cast nearly as well.

I agree about the luckycraft 65 flash minnow, nice n shallow and eps tend to prefer the narrow lures, especially those with black eyes and the 65 fits the bill perfectly, just upgrade the trebles
