Berkley Big Eye Blades
Recently, on Gippsalnd lakes, fishing was slow. Got a big trevally on an Ecogear Vib but nothing else. Near the end of fishing for the day as an experiment I swapped over to a Berkly Big Eye Blade, and shortly after landed 2 nice sized bream (both caught in 4 to 5 metre).
Considering these vibes retail at 10.95 I am buying a few more, though I will still use my Ecogears, Jazz etc . Curious to know if anyone else have found Big Eye Blades effective?

Never used them but saw them in DohDohDohDohDoh the other day. Think they wanted about 13 bucks for them. Are they made of plastic by the way???

Very popular in the fresh, used them once for bream, didn't have much luck.
Do you guys go for a 'sink & draw' retrieve - a few vibes and sink, wait a few seconds and repeat? Or a straight retrieve, as is popular with trout? |

i am using blades and i have tested most of them with great succses .. they al catch fish .. it comes down to working out the TUNE of each vibe to get the right vibration .. lures are not much of a use to be jerked as they do theyr job on smooth lifting and short .. work on techique and they will catch fish ..

There's a new colour range which I think was the only thing missing from the originals. There are 10 new colours and they come in packs of 2 and should retail for around $20. They have a great action and give out plenty of vibration and they catch fish!!

Great to see the new colors. I was more than happy with what was on offer before, but with the whole new color range. It looks like i will be unleashing the visa.
