Ozzy,

Welcome aboard.

Im no expert on either type of lure mate, but i'll list my faves for ya.

Hard bodys:

RMG Scorps, in both the 35mm, sneaky and 52mm versions

Orgee li'l rippers

Halco laser pro 45

Deception palemons

River to sea sheds

Theres plenty more out there which ill leave for everone else, as im fairly new to the game to.

As far as placcies go, there's HEAPS of great info on this site regarding colour, action, types etc...... So i'd go and have a search around and see what u can come up with.

As i said, im no expert, but as far as colours go, i reckon it doesnt matter as much as the action.

Ive been fishing bright coulours such as chartruse recently and have been having plenty of success, while the bloke at the other end of my boat might be using pumpkinseed and still be doing well!!!

However, to start out i'd suggest the following colours:

Muscadine

Pumpkinseed

Watermelon seed

Gold glitter

I might have opened a can of worms (no pun intended) here, coz everyone has there favourites, but i reckon you'd go alright starting out with those.

Let us know how u go

Cheers
