Smile Drift fishing

Hi Guys
Is there any special technique when drift fishing from a kayak?
I thought drifting past structures or even accross banks etc and occasionally lifting the rod tip might be effective.
Also I bought some Pad Tus from the online store, great service, how many places would call you on the Gold Coast from Perth on a mobile because the colour ordered was not available.

Thanks
Clithy
