$35 for a PX.
That's a joke.
But then again, lure fishermen tend to part with their cash without much objection.
I'm guilty, just not $35-for-a-PX guilty.

Doug Burt's has always been overpriced in my opinion. But this is way to far. Shop around and you can get them from $17 in local shops.

Thats ridiculous Dont suppose the same store is getting less and less japanese brands and higher end gear, but getting more and more of their own "INSTINCT" brand filling the shelves? Thats whats happening here, and the prices of everything else are going higher.

You've got to remember too, the suppliers often charge $20+ WHOLESALE for these jap lures, so they have to make some money somewhere. That being said $35 is a bit steep.

In a very competitive market shops will sell stuff for almost cost price to compete, making a few dollars a lure. Imagine how many of them they have to sell to pay just one staff member?

Just something to consider before you guys all go bagging out the retailers.

Saw a caravan park selling a Halco skin deep for $37 the other month, same with rooster poppers also. You think they would sit on the shelf for ever and if they made the cost reasonable they would probably sell one or two and make the same profit (some is better than none).

Some people are just straight out pumpkin heads.....

Tell him he's dreaming. You can easily get PX's for $20, often less. $35 is too much.
