Pro kayak anchoring spike

Reelmen are making two metre long solid fiberglass anchoring spikes. The point is a custom made aluminum knife edge and the other end is fitted with a hypalon grip. These pro spikes can be used both through the hull (OD of spike 22mm) or with a lanyard attached to the side of the hull. Will suit most kayaks. Cost $150.

any chance of custom making a 3meter, 2 part pole? I reckon they'd be good to use as a "power pole" for my tinny

Hobie make a stake out pole already, great piece of kit, doubles as shark defence system.

The boys from the Hobie Team used them during the Walpole comp and they proved invaluable for shallow water fishing. I already got mine after the comp!!

The Hobie pole is not long enough and the Reelmen pole is also heavier so the sharks wouldn't stand a chance...........

Hey, I recognise that Hobie warehouse! Sorry to veer off-topic, where does that go through in a Hobie Sport?
