I'd rather eat chilli mud crab than mussels....but then again mussels with pasta and white wine sauce is pretty schmick too.....no idea for the bream tho. Only bait i use (which isnt often anyway) are prawns and pilly tails...

Ive never used bait but id say mussels. Saw a thing on Fishing WA and they got some massive bream on weightless mussels still in the shell. They used a G-Lock hook and put it in between the gap in the mussel shell.

Come on we've all used bait at some stage most of us when we first started fishing

Many years ago we use to go and dig bloodworms in the Swan and these work a treat, don't know how fussy Bream are to be honest because have seen one bloke who swears by ganged hooks and a whole Mullie

Thought about this a bit more...and i guess it really depends on where you are fishing. If mussels are not natural to the area, then maybe they arent the go. Also crabs would stay on the hook longer
