Great video.
I cant wait to give the top water over on the Gold Coast next week a go with the Zipbait BL popper and Zipbait Skinny pop, they both look the goods.

ZBL's are awsome ! gave a few a good run last season...
if you havent used the skinny pops berfore a few hints, heavier leader, 10lb is good to stop them spinning during the cast and halps them lay in line on the retrieve. you have to learn to walk them as well as pop them, a VERY versitile lure ! and same here cant wait for the water temp to MOVE so the top water box canbe re commissioned !

I've done a fair bit of fish on top water for red fin but never bream so i am looking forward to give it a shot.

Nice Fish. I wish the fish up there were down here, The sight of a popper blooping along the water seem to frighten bream here.

While we are on the topic of surface breaming, does anyone have tips on how to work the PX45 and also the surface walker types? I got my first few on poppers last summer and keen have another crack.

Work the PX45 with short little pulses so that it makes small ripples on the surface, watch for swirls coming from behind the lure as bream go to hit it

Poppers are fun to use but IMO 40-70mm stick baits pull more fish in more conditions. Especially at this time of year when the bite can still be timid.

Yeah
I'm with surface breamer. I feel that the stick baits work better on Bream Well in the Goldcoast anyway !!
